This Privacy Policy describes how QuarxAI Inc. ("we", "our", or "us"), through our product MindBridge, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and website (mindbridgeai.app). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with the highest standard of care.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored encrypted via Supabase Auth). We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information at the account creation stage.

When you use MindBridge, we collect:

• Mood check-in data: your daily mood score, context tags, and sleep quality
• Journal entries: your written responses to guided journaling questions
• Conversation context: the active session context shared with Valentina (our AI companion), encrypted with AES-256
• Usage patterns: mood trends and behavioral patterns derived from your check-ins
• Device information: operating system and app version for technical support purposes

How we use your information

We use your information exclusively to provide and improve the MindBridge service:

• To provide personalized emotional support through Valentina
• To generate your mood patterns and wellbeing insights
• To detect potential crisis signals and activate our safety protocol
• To send daily check-in reminders (only if you enable notifications)
• To improve our AI models and product features using anonymized, aggregated data

Data security and encryption

All sensitive data in MindBridge is encrypted using AES-256-GCM — the same standard used by banking and government systems. Encryption keys are derived per user ID, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of a database breach, your data cannot be read without the key.

All data transmission between your device and our servers uses TLS (HTTPS). Our database is hosted on Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) active on all tables, ensuring complete isolation between users.

Third-party services

MindBridge uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI model powering Valentina's responses. Conversation context is shared per session. Anthropic's privacy policy applies.
• ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech service for Valentina's voice. Text is sent for audio synthesis. ElevenLabs' privacy policy applies.
• Supabase — Database and authentication. All data is stored encrypted. Supabase's privacy policy applies.
• Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics (page views, session duration). No personal data is shared.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time
• Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, no questions asked
• Portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format
• Correction: You can update your account information at any time through the app
• Opt-out: You can disable notifications, data collection for analytics, and delete your account at any time

Mental health data — special protections

We recognize that the information you share with Valentina is among the most sensitive personal data that exists. We apply the following additional protections:

• Mood and journal data is never shared with employers, insurance companies, or healthcare providers without your explicit written consent
• Crisis detection data is used solely to provide immediate safety resources — it is never stored in identifiable form
• We never use mental health data for profiling, scoring, or any form of automated decision-making that affects your rights

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (with no link to your identity) may be retained for product improvement purposes.

Children's privacy

MindBridge is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at privacy@mindbridgeai.app and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via email and update the effective date at the top of this page. We will never reduce your privacy rights without your explicit consent. Continued use of MindBridge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
